The conceptual collection 'I Am Not Made of Metal' is based upon the premise of the human perception of others and our habit of understanding individuals based through our own experience, essentially making them a reflection of ourselves thus confining them in a box.

To express this idea, I utilized materials that can easily be manipulated and altered to illustrate the nuances of people and how we change throughout our lives versus being trapped in the one version of ourselves as perceived by others.
