Fyodor Dotoveskvy's 'White Nights' was the source of inspiration for this collection, focusing on the female protagonist Nastenka as the muse while including motifs from architecture and the culture of Saint Petersburg. 

​The story explores the theme of unrequited love through a nameless narrator, who falls for and idealizes a young woman whom he meets. It was my goal to not only design for Nastenka as the narrator saw her but also for who she really was.
